
Dan Groob
Director of Research
Dan Groob is the Director of Research at QVIDTVM, where he manages large-scale research inititatives and leads the firm's research team in analyzing data to support strategic decision making. Dan also serves on the boards of QVIDTVM portfolio companies, both as a board member and board observer.
Dan began his career as an analyst at RRH Capital Management, a value-oriented activist hedge fund in Boston. At RRH, he was responsible for deep research and financial modeling across a variety of sectors, and was frequently deployed in the field to develop operating plans and support turnaround efforts for portfolio companies.
Following his tenure at RRH, Dan founded Hammond Pond Research, a consultancy that provides research and due diligence services to family offices and investment managers.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business, with a double concentration in Finance and Venture Management.
